Made with all the best Violet manufacturing traditions “The Emerald“ combines our famous single membrane VD26 capsule with the new Class-A preamplifier, Pad switch, and highest quality audio transformer at the output.

Massive body with large-size capsule head construction reduces internal resonances and reflections and provides more “airy” and detailed sound. Improved discrete electronics preamplifier has very low self-noise and hard to measure all kind of distortion. Preamplifier includes three position (0/-10/-20dB) Pad switch and large custom made audio transformer balancing and isolating microphone’s output and adding even more analog “warmth" to the sound.

“The Emerald” is wide application medium bright tone studio microphone, designed for the highest quality audio recordings where sound quality and musical character is of the utmost importance. Using Pad switch microphone is well suited for close lead vocal or loud instrument applications.
